Pinky and the Brain Lab Notes

Other Animated Videos

There is also plenty of other good animated films and series out there. Below is the list of animated films and television series on DVD that I have in my collection. Most of these titles you can find at your local big box retailer (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, etc.).

Daria: Is It Fall Yet?

Daria: Is It College Yet?

I enjoy Daria's skewering of everything high school. It helps that Daria is a lot like me, except she is much funnier. Too bad all the episodes are not available.

Schoolhouse Rock

Educational, yet catchy. I still remember the phrase "conjunction junction / what's your function?"

Iron Giant

A wonderful movie I should have seen when it was in the theaters. The advertising did not give the impression the movie was that good, but seeing it on the Cartoon Network changed my opinion.

Incredible Adventures of Wallace and Gromit

Chicken Run

Two good examples of British humor (or should I spell it humour?). The Wallace and Gromit

Toy Story and Toy Story 2

Monster's Inc.

Finding Nemo

Pixar has not failed me yet. A Bug's Life is my least favorite, so I do not yet it.

Ice Age

Ice Age has a rather predictable plot and uses some clichés, but I still like it. Scrat's mis-adventures are hilarious, and I liked the chemistry between Manfred, Sid, and Diego. The explanation of how Manfred came to be alone was nicely done.

Simpsons Season 1

Simpsons Season 2

Simpsons Season 3

The Simpsons before they ran out of humor.

Futurama Season 1

Futurama Season 2

Futurama Season 3

A great show. I liked it more than The Simpsons, but it never achieved the popularity of its cousin.
